Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, while presenting the state’s budget on Friday, emphasized that the region is on the path to lasting peace.
This is the first budget presented by the elected government in the last seven years.
During the speech, Omar Abdullah also announced that AAY (Antyodaya Anna Yojana) beneficiaries will receive 10 kg of free ration starting from April 1.
