Omar Abdullah Allocates ₹10 Crore for Construction of Six New Helipads in J&K

In his first budget presentation on Friday, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah emphasized that the region is on the path to lasting peace.

This marks the first budget presented by an elected government in the last seven years. Abdullah announced an allocation of ₹10 crore for the construction of six new helipads across the region, aimed at improving connectivity, particularly in remote areas, and boosting emergency response and tourism.

This initiative is expected to enhance infrastructure and accessibility in Jammu and Kashmir.
