A fatal road accident occurred in the Akhnoor area when a motorcycle was struck by an SUV, resulting in the death of the rider. The incident took place last night when Ajay Kumar, a resident of Shakti Nagar, Jammu, was riding his bike. The motorcycle was hit by a Bolero vehicle (JK02AM-9428) at Khuga Morh on the Sunderbani road.
The impact of the collision was so severe that Ajay Kumar died on the spot. Following the incident, his body was transferred to the Sub-District Hospital Akhnoor for post-mortem, after which it was handed over to his family. A case has been registered at the Police Station Akhnoor under the relevant sections of the law, and an investigation is currently underway.
