A Pakistani woman, Menal Khan, has arrived in Jammu after marrying Muneer Ahmed, a CRPF jawan from Bhalwal, Jammu. Menal Khan hails from the Punjab region of Pakistan.
According to officials, Muneer Ahmed, son of Nazir Ahmed, is currently posted with the CRPF at Shiv Khouri in Reasi district. He married Menal Khan on May 24, 2024, through an online video conference.
Menal, daughter of Mohd Asgar Khan from Kotli Faqir Chand, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan, was granted a 15-day visa to enter India. Officials have noted that they are closely monitoring her movements due to the sensitive nature of the situation.
Late last night, Menal Khan arrived in Handwal village in Tehsil Bhalwal, where she was welcomed by her in-laws after crossing the Attari-Wagah Border in Punjab.
